Meet the New Faces at Datanomix

Steve Curtis Joins Datanomix as Vice President of Sales.

Why did you choose to join the Datanomix Team?

It was ultimately a very simple decision based on people and product.  The leadership is very strong and experienced, and we had an immediate professional/personal connection.  The solution brings great value to the industrial market by creating a brilliant balance between powerful insight and the simplicity of deployment.

What makes you excited about your upcoming role and working with Datanomix customers?

Datanomix is in a unique position to assist in the growth of the heart and soul of Americana.  Data for the sake of data is useless, but being able to easily expose data in a format that can help the overall efficiency and productivity of a manufacturer is powerful.  All manufacturers chase their optimal production rates, and we add great value in helping them dial that in…they appreciate that.

Prior to Datanomix, what were you doing? How can that help you in your current position?

My last two roles really focused on the different value the utilization of data can offer to a business.  In one, I was focused on the monetization of data and that was very new and exciting.  In those days it was said that data was the new currency.  With Datanomix I am simply shifting the narrative whereby the manufacturer is utilizing their own data to help with their own currency.

What is one experience in your career that has helped shape who you are?

It is really a cumulative “one”.  One of my early roles was with a company also in Nashua, NH.  The leadership team and company culture was experienced and fun, and the solution created value for our customers.  At the time I didn’t fully appreciate it.  I don’t know if it’s a Nashua thing, but I have been chasing that same fit for years…until now.

Where can we find you on the weekends?  How do you like to spend your free time?

I have two passions in my life—my family and cycling.  I love the outdoors and the adrenaline I get from cycling on asphalt, gravel, trails or snow.  When I’m not pedaling somewhere, I love to spend time with my family.  We are often playing games (yes even board games), watching something on Disney+ or simply relaxing on our screened porch and patio.
