## From the first media event with Datanomix to the three keynote presentations and a panel discussion on optimizing the factory floor, EASTEC 2021 firmly established that the quest to realize the promise of Industry 4.0 is accelerating.

Setting the tone was the opening-day press conference [announcing the partnership of Datanomix and Caron Engineering](https://datanomix.io/2021/10/19/datanomix-and-caron-engineering-partnership/). Datanomix, of Nashua, N.H., and Caron, of Wells, Maine, joined forces to aggregate and analyze production data collected by Caron’s [TMAC tool—and machine—monitoring sensors](https://datanomix.io/caron-integration/) in a new real-time dashboard in the Datanomix software.
